An exhibition of Berwick photographs is now on display at The Storehouse in Berwick Barracks. “Portrait of a Town” features scenes from the 1950s to the 1970s, offering a fascinating glimpse into Berwick’s past. In 1951, David M. Smith left his post as editor of the Berwick Advertiser and founded the Photo-News Service, capturing every newsworthy event in the area and recorded many family occasions, marking milestones in the lives of several generations of townspeople.
