    TillVAS is holding its James IV Memorial Lecture on Sunday 8th October at 2.30pm in Etal Village Hall. Jordan Evans, from the Royal Household, will speak about Mary, Queen of Scots.   • 4000 years of Lowick heritage 21/09/2017

    Lowick Heritage Group is presenting a special event exploring 4000 years of Lowick heritage on Saturday 30th September and Sunday 1st October 2017, from 10am until 4pm, in Lowick Village Hall. There will be a display of photographs, historic maps, local archaeological finds and an update on the Dryburn Limeworks Conservation project.

    Entrance is free and refreshments will be available.

    Please tell your family and friends about this weekend. If you have any photos or other information relating to Lowick, please do bring them with you.

  • Berwickshire place-names 21/09/2017

    A day of events about place-names in Berwickshire is being held on Saturday 30 September 2017 at Coldstream Community Centre.  An exhibition is on display from 2.00pm to 5.00pm, admission free.  In the evening, at 7.00pm, a talk will be given by Dr Simon Taylor.  This is part of the Scottish Borders Heritage Festival.
