SNAPSHOTS OF THE 1970s (Berwick Record Office / FBDMA, 2023; ISBN 978-0-99-702549-1 pbk.) is the third volume in a series which draws upon the Photo Centre Collection to illustrate life in Berwick during the 1950s, 1960s, and now 1970s. This volume records many of the physical changes which were made in the town in the 1970s, as well social changes which developed. It contains 66 pages of photographs of which one-third are in colour. These are prefaced by 20 pages of a Timeline for Berwick in the 1970s, based on information reported in the Berwick Advertiser at the time.
The book is available from Berwick Record Office at £12.99. (If postal delivery is required, please add £3.95 to cover postage and packing.) Cheques are payable to: Friends of Berwick & District Museum and Archives.
