Cowe’s exhibition

An exhibition on the history and restoration of Wm. Cowe & Sons’ building at 64-66 Bridge Street in Berwick will be on display there between Monday 17th and Sunday 23rd April 2017. Open 10am – 4pm daily, free admission.

Until 2010 the premises housed ‘The Original Berwick Cockle Shop’ owned by William Cowe and Sons. This exhibition brings together material and objects from a number of sources. It will chart the history of the property and its occupants and will also tell the story of the famous Berwick Cockle.

The exhibition has been prepared by Cameron Robertson who has researched and documented the history of the building throughout its restoration process.
