To mark the end of the Flodden 500 project, Berwick Museum is hosting an exhibition to show some of the material which has been discovered – archaeological finds alongside 16th century documents, and lots of hand-on activities. It will be on show at the Museum between 18th June and 29th August 2016. For visiting details, see this link: http://www.berwickmuseum.org.uk/planning-a-visit After its display in Berwick the exhibition will move to Coldstream.

Berwick Museum & Art Gallery is currently hosting two exhibitions of arts and crafts with a Scandinavian connection. Textil / Juvel displays textiles and jewellery from seven leading contemporary artists in West Sweden; traditional techniques and new technologies are combined to explore a concern with the natural world and our impact upon it. The other exhibition presents paintings by Inger Lawrence, who was born in Denmark but has been based in Berwick since the 1980s. Her work has been inspired by the light and colour of local landscapes. Both exhibitions run until 10 June 2016.
