#AncestryHour

An information exchange for family historians is now firmly established at #AncestryHour, which began in 2014 as a Twitter-based service set up by Borders Ancestry. This continues on a regular weekly basis on Tuesday evenings between 7.00pm and 8.00pm (GMT) when anyone with a Twitter account can join in with questions, information or opinions about any aspect of genealogy.

It has now been supplemented by a Facebook page and a website with a blog provided by a guest editor.  And its latest initiative is a Forum which can facilitate live chat sessions among groups of members with an interest in family history.

A description of #AncestryHour, with a short video explanation, can be found at  http://www.ancestryhour.co.uk/about.html .

The Facebook page can be viewed at  https://www.facebook.com/ancestryhour .

And the blog appears at  http://www.ancestryhour.co.uk/blog .

You can also sign up for the Newsletter which has details of special offers currently running in conjunction with Find My Past and Forces War Records.
