Early films of Berwick 18/03/2026

A programme of early films of Berwick, made between 1911 and the 1950s, will be shown in Berwick Record Office (at Berwick Library, 1st floor) on Saturday 21st March 2026. There will be two screenings at 11.00am and 2.30pm and each will last around 40 minutes. Free admission.

Elizabethan walls 12/03/2026

A talk on “The Elizabeth Walls” is to be given by Jim Herbert on Friday 20th March 2026, at 7.00pm in the Parish Centre. This forms part of a research project on Berwick’s Elizabethan ramparts which is currently being undertaken for Berwick Heritage Open Days, under the auspices of the Friends.

All are welcome. The talk is free to attend thanks to funding and support from the National Lottery Heritage Fund and English Heritage.
