  • An App for Burrell 21/05/2015

    A new mobile App from Berwick’s Burrell Collection has just been released, for downloading to iPads free of charge. The App is the culmination of the 9 month project to celebrate the life of Sir William Burrell and the collection of artworks he donated to Berwick-upon-Tweed. The App holds 13 snippets from the oral history project and a selection of 20 pieces from the Collection with background information on each piece.

  • Record Office closure 08/05/2015

    Owing to Northumberland County Council’s major reorganisation of its property in Berwick, the Record Office has to vacate its current premises in Wallace Green by 8th June 2015. It is expected that the Record Office will continue to offer its existing opening hours until then (subject to the need to make preparations for the removal).
