Make a donation
One of the aims of the Friends is to raise funds to help support the work of the Museum and the Record Office. Both of them face uncertainties about their future accommodation and challenges in their current premises. To enable the Friends to provide help to the Museum and Record Office, we have introduced two easy ways for people to give support.
BT MyDonate provides a secure method of donating online. By clicking the logo or the link below, you will be taken to the Friends’ page on MyDonate where there are simple instructions for making a donation by credit or debit card.
Alternatively, those who would prefer to make a donation by post can send a cheque, made payable to FBDMA, to Hon. Treasurer FBDMA, c/o Berwick Record Office, Walkergate Building, Walkergate, Berwick-upon-Tweed, TD15 1DB.
Give As You Live provides another way of giving financial assistance to the Friends – at no cost to yourself. It pays a small percentage of the price of any purchase that you make from a wide range of online stores, including Amazon, eBay, John Lewis, M&S, Argos, Thomas Cook, The Train Line, Majestic Wine, and the major supermarkets. You just have to sign up with the Give As You Live website and nominate the Friends as your preferred charity – and then remember to select your store from the Give As You Live website before making your purchase as normal. To check out the website, click the logo or the link:
Each individual sum paid to FBDMA may be small but over time it could build up to a significant amount. Thank you for your help!
