  • Bygone Borderlands 26/04/2015

    A weekend celebrating local and family history and the heritage of the English and Scottish borders will be held in Berwick on Saturday 2nd and Sunday 3rd May 2015. There will be exhibitions by many local groups and a programme of talks in the Guildhall, 11.00am – 4.00pm.

    ADMISSION FREE.

  • Berwick and WW1 12/04/2015

    The story of Berwick and the First World War is being explored in a Berwick 900 event on Saturday 25th and Sunday 26th April.  There will be exhibitions, talks, and re-enactments taking place, in the Town Hall and at the Barracks.

    11.00am – 4.00pm each day.  Admission free.

  • Museum open for Easter 01/04/2015

    Berwick Museum reopened for the season on 1st April.  Normal opening hours Monday – Friday 11.00am – 5.00pm. New for this season are a Natural History exhibition (with some beautiful items of fauna and geology collected by the Berwick Naturalists’ Club – and a rhinoceros foot umbrella stand) and also a display of First World War recruiting posters.

    Additionally, over the Easter weekend the Museum will be open on Saturday and Sunday, with free admission:

    Good Friday 11.00am – 5.00pm
    Easter Saturday 11.00am – 5.00pm  FREE ADMISSION
