  • Explore Your Archive 27/10/2014

    On Tuesday 11 November at 2.00pm, an illustrated talk on Berwick and its surrounding district during the First World War will be given by Berwick archivist Linda Bankier, as part of the programme “Explore Your Archive” which is promoted by The National Archives. The talk will take place in Berwick Library in Walkergate: admission free, just turn up.

  • Museum at half-term 19/10/2014

    Berwick Museum and Art Gallery will be open for a week covering the schools’ half-term 25th-31st October.  On display will be the North East Wildlife Photography Exhibition.  This year there were 6 competition categories, and exhibits will include the winner, runner-up and highly commended image for each category, and a DVD of the best of the rest. All the photographs shortlisted captured the best of the region’s wildlife, and were taken in the north-east of England in the areas covered by Northumberland, Durham and Tees Valley Wildlife Trusts.

  • Autumn Lecture 14/10/2014

    On Friday 24th October Dr Rob Collins will give the Friends’ Autumn Lecture, an illustrated talk on “Portable Antiquities and Treasures in the North-East”.  The lecture will start at 7.00pm in the Parish Centre, The Parade, Berwick.  Followed by refreshments.  All welcome.
